AEM SITE SECURITY

For any application, security is critical. We ensure that developed and deployed application on AEM is fully secure and follows security checklist recommended by Adobe. If Adobe recommended security checks are not followed, it adds security vulnerabilities and risks to deployed application.

For our clients, We have worked on following level of securities on AEM

  1. Server Side Security
  2. Dispatcher Side Security
  3. AEM Instance Security

We strictly follow server-side security checks and dispatcher side security checks as defined in AEM Adobe documentation.

We have expertise in performing these security checks on Apache Server, dispatcher. We also have an expertise on AEM side security checks.

We support AEM side security checks. These AEM side security checks will secure your AEM publish instance from getting crash or irresponsive.

One of the benefits of these AEM side security checks is explained with the help of a use-case. Here is a use-case -

During the development of AEM sites, sometimes we need to use selectors feature of AEM. These selectors feature is very nice but only if these selectors are used responsibly. For example, during development, a digital agency used 10 different selectors based on their use case. Now for allowing these selectors they allow these selectors at dispatcher level, that's common we have to allow these selectors. But the issue is - we are not only allowing these selectors but we are also allowing the combination/permutation of these selectors, means any combination of these selectors will hit publish instance.

So if someone writes a job that hits a site URL with the combination of these selectors, these hits will directly come to the server resulting in server getting slow, unresponsive.

To handle security issues, we created a security tool. By using our security tool, you can enhance your site security. Moreover, you don't need a developer to configure our security tool - An author can configure it very easily.
